General Description
Fmoc-4-Aph(Hor)-OH is an unnatural amino acid protected by Fmoc, which is often used as a key synthetic intermediate of Degarelix.
Fmoc-4-Aph(Hor)-OH Structural meaning:
The matrix is L-phenylalanine; "4-Aph" means that amino phenylalanine structure is introduced into the para position (position 4) of benzene ring, and the amino group is further connected with the Hor part; "Hor" refers to hexahydro -2,6- dioxo -4- pyrimidinyl, that is, the side chain has a hexahydropyrimidine diketone ring.
