Octreotide is a peptide drug approved by FDA in 1988. It is a cyclic octapeptide containing a disulfide bond in the molecule. It has definite therapeutic effects on a variety of diseases and tumors. Octreotide is mainly synthesized by solid-phase peptide synthesis.

Omizzur optimized and amplified the synthesis technology of octreotide. The degree of substitution of Fmoc thr (TBU) -ol with 2-chlorotriphenylmethyl chloride tree was increased to 0.503mmol/g by increasing the reaction temperature to 40 ℃ and selecting dichloromethane as the weak polar solvent. The disulfide bond was synthesized with (h:o:) =30% aqueous solution, which simplified the steps of separating oxidants. The large-scale reactor integrates four functions of filtration, stirring, temperature control and bubbling, and the operation is more convenient. Omizzur provides customized services for octreotide related impurities.

It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized in sterile water, which can then be further diluted in other aqueous solutions. Lyophilized is stable at room temperature for 3-4 weeks, but still should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution, Peptide should be stored at 4°C out of direct light for between 10-14 days and for future use below -18°C. Peptide need prevent repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
