Basic Information
Elastin Protein Peptide is a small peptide chain made from elastin by enzymolysis. Its core function is to help maintain skin elasticity and firmness, mainly for signs of aging such as relaxation and sagging. It is usually used as an oral cosmetic raw material, often used in partnership with collagen peptide, and does not have the miraculous effect of "rejuvenation".
What is elastin peptide?
Elastin Protein Peptide is extracted from bovine heart tube,ligament, and then cut into small molecular peptides with biological enzyme.
The molecular weight can only be absorbed by the intestine and enter the blood circulation after it is made smaller.
Unique marker
It contains chainin and heterochainin, which is a special amino acid structure not found in collagen peptide, and is the gold standard for judging authenticity and quality.
Role in the skin
Elastin, like a net, gives the skin the ability to stretch and rebound. The content in dermis is very small (about 2% ~ 5%), but it decreases sharply with age and the body can hardly regenerate after adulthood.
