General Description
L-Cysteine HCL Anhydrous is a highly sensitive amino acid derivative to temperature, humidity, and light. It is prone to oxidation at room temperature and clumps easily when exposed to moisture. Light exposure accelerates the degradation of its thiol group (- SH), leading to a decrease in purity, yellowing of the solution, and even the production of hydrogen sulfide odor
Purpose
L-Cysteine HCl anhydrous is used for biochemical research. Determination of Calcium and Magnesium in Steel Raw Materials. Determine the reducing agent for hemolysin. Used for treating acrylonitrile and aromatic poisoning, preventing radiation damage, treating bronchitis, and resolving phlegm.
L-Cysteine HCl anhydrous is also used in cosmetics to prevent aging, as a food additive to promote fermentation and maintain freshness.
