Soild phase peptide synthesis (SPPS) method-2

Soild phase peptide synthesis (SPPS) method-2

After Dr. Merrifield (USA) created and developed a solid-phase synthesis method for peptides, the field of peptide research has undergone tremendous changes. The difference from the liquid phase method is that the reaction carrier is not in solution, but is connected to the polymer resin through some covalent bond structure, and then the bond structure is linked one by one in the form of acid amine bond. Finally, the peptide chain connected according to the sequence requirements is cut from the resin, and after purification and other treatments, the peptide of the desired sequence can be obtained.
