The anticancer drug cetrorelix is a newly synthesized gonadotropin releasing hormone antagonist, which controls the secretion of luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) by competing with endogenous LHRH for membrane receptors on pituitary cells. Matters needing attention:
